We invite you to join us in Centering Prayer practice, in the parish office from 9:30-10:00 AM, Sunday mornings.  For more information, please call Kathy McDonald at 513-941-6497 or email kmc@one.net. Centering Prayer is a method of silent prayer in which we experience God's presence within us, closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than consciousness itself. This method of prayer is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship.

Baptisms: Our "Feast of Baptisms" is displayed in the church where the "Wedding Wall" appears each summer. We celebrated 44 Baptisms in 2011, including 2 adults at the Easter Vigil, children of many regular parishioners, a few newly registered families, some families who participate only occasionally and Baptisms for young families living in other cities who bring their children "home" near family and to a place dear to their hearts. Take a look at the Baptism Wall which will be displayed through February 19.
We start 2012 expecting 5 or 6 Baptisms before Lent.

Coffee and donuts will now be served in the Parish Hall after the 8:15 and 10:30 Masses most Sundays of the year. We are in need of a few more volunteers to help us with this ministry. We still need a few more volunteers for the 8:15 Mass.  Please call the office, we really do need your help us once a month or to sub from time to time.
Note: Coffee & Donuts will be in the undercroft after the 8:15 Mass on February 5, 12, and 19 and in the Church after the 10:30 Mass.

St. Francis Pledge: Step 4 of the St. Francis Pledge is to act. 8 parishioners traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico for "Nature and the Human Soul" with Father Richard Rohr, OFM and Bill Plotkin. Each day in New Mexico was like living the Canticle of Creation. We awoke to Brother Sun over the Sandia Mountains. "...Sister Water, so useful, humble, precious and pure." was being conserved in a gray water project. Our Sister, Mother Earth was being restored with native plants, artful recycling bins and composting. In the evening, we were able to see Sister Moon and the stars. "Praise and bless my Lord, and give Him thanks, and serve Him with great humility."
